Sqweel Go

For today's review, I'll be looking at the Sqweel Go by Lovehoney. This is the latest iteration of the Sqweel, and I have the Sqweel 2 review here. As always, click any image to see a larger version!

The Sqweel Go¹ was a very pleasant surprise for me- I was initially worried that due to it's tiny size it simply wouldn't cut it. Instead, it quickly became my favored Sqweel. At around three inches long, it's half the size of my palm and very easy to manipulate. Although it's loud for a toy its size, in the grand scheme of things, it's a reasonable volume. This Sqweel has three speeds and three patterns, and charges via usb port. It charges for two hours for an hour of play, and glows blue while charging. The wheel does not detach for sterilization like in the previous two versions; this is unfortunate as it would probably make for a great rimming toy. This toy requires a ton of water-based lube for it's size, and the easiest application is to roll the Sqweel through a palm full of lube.²  

As with the previous Sqweels, though they are marketed as oral sex stimulators, they simply don't feel like it.³ This Sqweel is especially great at nipple stimulation and piercing stimulation. In fact if it weren't for my vch piercing, I doubt I would have enjoyed this toy simply as a foreplay tool. With my piercing out, I found the Sqweel Go to be too featherlight for any notable orgasms. Unfortunately I don't have any other piercings to compare it to, but the Sqweel Go is the only external vibrator I've used so far that is purely pleasurable against my piercing.

Unfortunately the Sqweel Go still has a major pitfall that the other Sqweels have- when pressure is applied, it stops rotating. Though this Sqweel is a little faster than the Sqweel 2, it's still not strong enough to withstand moving hips. Unless you're really into edge play, this is one of the most annoying faults when approaching orgasm. It's also fairly difficult to clean as the wheel doesn't detach. The tininess of the tongues also cover less area than previous sqweels, which may be unattractive to some users. Due to its small size though, it can be used easily with insertable toys. The Sqweel Go is not waterproof, though it is splash proof, so cleaning needs to be done carefully to avoid water getting in the motor. Cleaning the tongues with a toothbrush and then washing them off by rotation under running water seems to be the best way to clean this toy. Alternatively one could use a toy cleaner or wipes.

All in all, the Sqweel 2 is a better bet if you're looking for a toy to stimulate rimming or want larger areas covered, and you don't mind a loud toy. The Sqweel Go is superior for foreplay- especially nipple play, using with other toys, and piercing stimulation. 

¹ I can't stop imagining a small dog named Sqweel, and yelling at the dog to go fetch something.  
² Please use lube with this toy. It's not worth the awkward dry tugs and pulls to save a few drops of lube.
³ I'm betting on the lack of warmth, breath, and that the ten tongues can only rotate rather than do randomized motions.

Thus far, I've reviewed two other vibrators made by Lovehoney- the Sqweel 2 and Happy Rabbit Natural. Both of these were decent vibrators, and had the potential to be awesome for the right user. The Flash unfortunately does not meet these standards.

Flash is, like its namesake, flashy- a small toy that can easily be traveled with, it charges via usb, has multiple modes and a single power button to flicker through them all. However its vibrations are buzzy and surface-level, rather than deep¹. If you are rather sensitive, or want to use this vibrator solely for teasing, then it works. I found it particularly great for orgasm denial play. Though given the level of its buzziness, it can invoke temporary numbness.

The Flash has a silicone finish, so you want to stick with water-based lubricants. It's also marketed as waterproof; however the two halves pull apart easily, and I wouldn't use it underwater. I found its noise level greatly fluctuated, sometimes it was quiet, like a single bee buzzing, and other times the entire hive was active. This toy has a contoured tip, which didn't affect my experience positively or negatively.

I really wanted to love this vibrator- from its sleek and simple appearance, to how easily it can discretely charge off my laptop. Hopefully a second version will come out, with a vastly stronger and rumbly motor.

Happy Rabbit Natural

For today's review I'll be looking at the Happy Rabbit Natural Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator by Lovehoney. Click any of the photos to see their full versions.

If you're looking for a traditional rabbit vibrator, you may notice that the market is flooded with porous toys. These require condoms when sharing, and cannot be completely disinfected or boiled. So off the bat, the Happy Rabbit Natural, made of nonporous silicone, has an advantage over those rabbit vibes. There are also two other versions of this toy, one with a lip for g-spot stimulation and another with a more realistic shape. The exclamation mark controls the vibration speeds and turns the toy on and off. The long part of the exclamation mark cycles through the shaft's three different speeds and two vibration patterns. The exclamation point controls the rabbit, which has three different vibration speeds. You can have just the ears vibrating, or the shaft, or various combinations of the two. The shaft is on the smaller side, at a bit over five inches.

I preferred the second vibration pattern, which alternates using the motor at the base of the vibrator with the one on the tip for two short bursts, and a slightly longer burst. All together there are three motors in this vibe, with the third in the rabbit, making this a powerful rechargeable vibrator. For it's power, it's also rather quiet. For some this may be the perfect rabbit vibe: powerful, quiet, and rechargeable.

Personally, the Happy Rabbit Natural just missed the spot. I find this toy a ton of fun if I've already warmed up, or if I've covered the toy's shaft with Sliquid's Stimulating O Gel. It doesn't work well as a start up toy for myself as once I have the shaft where I want it, the ears end up at the root of my clit rather than on it, and the nose doesn't quite hit my clit either. If I'm already aroused though, the ears' indirect stimulation is nice though my focus is largely on the shaft. I would actually prefer this vibrator just without the rabbit, as the shaft is super awesome. The gentle curve makes g-spot stimulation possible, and when aroused it vibrated against my g-spot nicely. The base is rather awkward to hold, and it does need to be held. There is also a seam that runs down the middle of this toy, I couldn't feel it but especially sensitive users may be able to.

This toy can be cleaned with hot water and soap or a toy cleaner. As this vibrator is made of silicone, it cannot be used with silicone lubes as the silicone will eat itself. This is a nonporous toy, and doesn't have any odor. All in all, I would recommend this to people who want a body safe traditional rabbit vibe, who have shorter vaginal canals, or who are new to toys.

Sqweel 2

The Sqweel 2 is certainly a unique toy, instead of using vibrations a set of ten little flexible silicone tongues rotate to provide stimulation. These create a repetitive flicking sensation, which I didn't find reminiscent of oral sex. There are three speeds, a forwards and backwards mode, and a back and forth mode. For vulva use, I found the highest speed best, the higher speed also enabled more pressure to be placed upon the Sqweel without it stopping. Personally, I preferred clockwise rotations such that it rotates down my vulva. The slowest speed, the first setting, I found lovely for a ticklish sensation anywhere on the body. It's especially fun to move the Sqweel in the direction that it's rotating. For me there was a little too much lag between the back and forth mode to get anything out of it.

For clitoral use, I found it best to place a water-based lube (I went with Sliquid Sea this time, though I've decided I like Satin better) directly on my skin so the Sqweel would pick up lube while rotating. The Sqweel is a little clunky to hold, and I had problems with keeping the Sqweel at the perfect distance from my clit so it wouldn't slow down when becoming aroused and wanting to press it down. This toy can also be used as a safe way of exploring oral-anal sensations. The motor to run this toy is rather loud, and can be heard through closed doors.

This toy can be used with an insertable toy, I tried with the Cush. I found that I couldn't thrust effectively while using the Sqweel on my clit, and even without thrusting, I kept running into Cush. You can use a still or thrusting anal toy while using Sqweel without problems; I went with the trusty Pure Wand. 

The Sqweel 2 runs off of three AAA batteries, purchased separately. For cleaning, the toy can be taken apart, cleaned with hot water and soap or toy cleaner, dried and reassembled. All in all, I found it more fun to run this toy along my body, especially over my nipples, than use as an "oral sex stimulator". It's certainly a fun foreplay toy, and unique in sensation.

You probably got the memo by now, Cush is a rather girthy toy. (If you're looking for a slightly slimmer toy, the Flurry may be more up your alley.) The white material is Tantus's SuperSoft, while the colored core is firmer; together these make a lovely dual density pure silicone dildo. Cush is 1.75" wide, and has 6.5" of insertable awesomeness. This toy is also on the heavy side, and has a decent thud for slapping a [consenting] face or clitoris.

The Cush O2 is straight up, a fabulous dildo. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it's also shaped excellently. Insertion with any water based lube, I went with Sliquid Satin, is comfortable and pleasurable. For vaginal use, I found the head caressed my front vaginal walls and my g-spot perfectly. The second ridge I didn't notice often in vaginal use as the first one would be rubbing against my g-spot; but when I did notice it, it tended to be right inside at my vaginal opening. For anal use, the toy is safe as it has a wide base. I found it worked fine anally, and I certainly felt the second ridge there. The base is a bit heavy and I noticed this more with anal use, and would strain my wrist a bit. This base also makes Cush o-ring harness friendly. Due to Cush's lovely shape, it's also excellent for thrusting. I did not encounter any pain with this dildo, though I'm sure if it was made of a firmer material, my orifices would not have been nearly so happy with it.

For cleaning, one can simply wash it with soap and water, or boil the toy. As Cush is made of silicone, it will attract lint, though not a ton. One can cover Cush with saran wrap to keep it clean between uses.
