iGino One

For today's review I'll be looking at the iGino One by iGino. As always, click any image to see a larger version!

The iGino One is a small external vibrator, in a bright white and pink ABS plastic. This vibrator has a few positives, one being that if one gets the travel version it comes has with a US and European charger. It also has the capability to charge with a computer via usb. Technically this vibrator is on the discrete side as it appears more like a cell phone than anything else, and the color scheme is rather reminiscent of Hello Kitty. There is a plastic cover to protect the toy portion from dust which is pretty cool.

Unfortunately, that is the end of this product's positive high notes. The iGino's motor is rather loud and buzzy- high pitched and loud enough to be more annoying than a Hitachi. I found attempting to use the iGino for any long amount of time resulted in far more headaches than orgasms. Though the iGino oscillates,1 the buzzing portion is too short for the oscillations to be effective, or even strongly distinctive from vibrations. If the vibrating portion were less of a nub, and could cover more area, this would work far better for myself.

iGino notes that this vibrator can be used between couples, however this only seems to be true if the vulva owner(s) have flat or concave mons pubis, otherwise there is a lot of jostling and simply not stimulating the clitoral area. The iGino One only has one speed, and is on the powerful side of things. Theoretically one can use the different slim foam bits and vary pressure to try and establish different speeds, though I didn't have much luck with this.

This toy takes twelve hours to charge using the USB port, and only charges the toy for forty minutes. Forty minutes. I would expect that kind of ratio for a strong solar powered vibrator. Beyond this though, I would not suggest sharing this toy with anyone you have not fluid bound with. The foamy section seems porous, however the rest of the ABS plastic can be wiped down to sanitize it.

This was iGino's first foray into the sex toy world, and even though it didn't take off to the moon- it was made of safe materials and by a company that wants to help people find pleasure. I hope to see another version or model by iGino in the future.

1 This is what originally drew me to this product despite the cringeworthy tag line of "what women want".
